INTRODUCTION.

               Bhanubhakta's epigram 'Amarawati Kantipur Nagari(Kantipur city is equal to the kingdom of Indra, king of god) and the word 'SHANGRILA',used by other poets,scholars and writers depict the natural beauty, historical glory and the unique culture and lifestyle of Kathmandu vally(Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur districts). Always the capital city of Nepal,from the ancient time till date, it has been the third amongthe ten tourists destinations of the world and the only one of its kind is South Asia, as per the feedback and survey. Kathmandu is one among the three districts of Kathmandu Valley, surrounded by sanga pass in the east, Band past in the west,Panchmana pass in the north and Pharping in the south and located in the midhill. It is also known as the 'City of temples' as there are worldwide famous temples and bihars and monastery such as Pashuipatinath, Swambhunath stupa, Baudhanath, Kathmandu durbar square inlisted in world heritage sites.It became the capital city of Nepal in 1825 B.S. as King Prithivinarayan Shah-led Gorkha seized Kathmandu. The Kodari Highway (113 km) links it with Tibet, autonomous state of china in yhe northeast and the Tribhuwan Highway (186 km)links with raxual, India in the south. The onlyinternational airport of the country offers both domestic and international flights.
